Building Execution Rocks by FOS Pt.2

The FIFA World Cup is a big distraction these days. Nonetheless, I have finished one half of the kit. It is my favorite half with all these different angles, roof, etc. The rest is still in the works. One little problem I discovered the other day is that the roof of the corrugated warehouse is cut looking from the top just like the rest of the roofs. However, it bends in other direction. While other roofs form ridges, this one forms a valley. I bent it the way it was cut but then turned it upside down to form
the valley. Then I applied the roofing material and now I have the roof that doesn't match the walls. I need to either re-do the roof or get creative. I like the latter. It will make my build somewhat unique.

Sonny's Shack by American Model Builders

I have completed another project from my started kit list! I have nearly completed another three kits. Once I am done with them I will have achieved my goal of completing 5 unfinished projects. It might be easier said than done though. I am running out of steam. I need some time off, maybe travel a bit. I need to miss building models.

Building Palmer Beverage Distributors by Railroad Kits Pt.1

I bought the Palmer at the EXPO 2016. It was brand new release with undetermined release date for the online sales. I had to have it. However, it was a little risky move. The new release meant that the instructions most likely weren't going to be available for some time. Essentially, I bought a puzzle with an opportunity to build it unintended way.
Being new release it had some issues which I am sure have been resolved by manufacturer at this point. To address the problems I had to stop the construction and make a part I needed or paint a piece of wood so it isn't progressing as I would like. It looks like though I have addressed the last issue and all I need now is time to finish the kit.

Building Dewitt's Depository by Campbell Pt.1

This is yet another of hard to re-sell due to its condition kits that I own. It was complete but the walls were stained with A&I. That might be the reason that they are darker than I intended them to be. I was shooting for my Wanda's look.
I had a little setback. The manufacturer miscalculated how many pieces of 1/32 x 3/32 and 1/32 x 1/16 stripwood were needed. The total quantity was right but quantities of each size were swapped. I came up short of 1/32 x 3/32. Luckily, I recently bought the materials for another severely messed up Campbell  kit and my order included the size of the stripwood I needed. Everything is good now and I am moving forward with this build.

Building Moscone Bonds by FOS Pt.2

I have made some progress but it seems I need to take one step back. The large windows are upside down. I didn't realize that until I looked at the pictures of this post. Now I have to pull the windows out without causing too much damage. I wish I hadn't noticed...
